Line ups!

Patience!

Why do only a handful of people that I know have any patience? For example, if a mechanic is fixing your vehicle and they are not sure what is wrong with it and to ensure that you have a working vehicle it is going to take 2 extra days. I understand the inconvenience this may cause people but I don't understand what one thinks they will accomplish by going to the mechanic every 1/2 hour and complaining. I would naturally think NOTHING!!!! If I was the mechanic in this example I would probably never fix the vehicle or pull a hose somewhere.

Or when waiting in a line and the people around you are muttering "can't you just hurry up" or "jeez, how much slower could this be?" My answer to these questions is A LOT slower. I think at times we forget that we are the ones in line to consume something and the person on the til is there to provide us with a service as well as the other 100 people who have come to pick something up. Do you really think that individual at the til is enjoying what she is doing? I highly doubt it as I have been there before and really if they could move any faster they would just to get you out of their line up. However the person ahead of you in the line up is the reason the line up is taking so long not the cashiers. Maybe if you just stopped shopping and spent more time at home or outside then you could learn to be more patient because then your world would really revolve around you because it is your home.

I hate waiting just like a lot of other people but really the only thing I can control in that situation is why I am there in the first place.

And by the way I don't like facebook! I spend way too much time there.
