I have a new glove!
Thats right a new baseball glove. As we walked in Drangs favourite sporting establishment it hit me. The last time I had a new ball glove I was 12. WOW! I am so excited to play ball this summer that I can hardly wait. I just about bought a bat as well but did you know that a baseball bat is like 200 - 300 ON SALE? The only ones that were less than 200 were PINK, okay so the girls get cheap pink ugly ass bats. Then again why am I making the assumption that only girls would be buying a pink bat. I wonder how many 12 year old boys will be walking up to the plate with their 49.99 pink bat.
Anyways, I am super psyched about ball. Plus their curling supplies were on sale so I now have an ORANGE curling broom. I am going to play with Rilla and Drang next year. I have warned Drang that I have not curled since I was 15 and then I was pretty darn bad at it. Our curling coach actually asked us to quit. I don't think that many high school students can say that their curling team was dismantled at the coaches request.

Huzzah! I'm so glad that you're curling with us next year. It'll be lots of fun, and we won't expect you to "rock" at it right off the bat... you just have to accept my bad curling humour.
Would it be too much to ask if I could play too?
